Yes this is the same pic as the last one. My last post was my completed rework. I made the background darker and the foreground darker. That's all I really could do to make it nearly identical to the picture I used as reference. I personally didn't like this work because--1) I don't like oil pastels! I was just trying something new. and 2) I am much much better at observational drawing, which I will use in upcoming works.
If you prefer to replace your summer homework with observed works there is still time (Beginning of November). I am concerned that the progress in this piece appears to be the same from last weeks upload. I know you have recently started a new piece in class, you could photograph your progress on that or another piece and upload. Please do so ASAP.
ReplyDeleteI think I will replace this summer homework with my observational class piece. Is it okay if I use the observed work from class as my 4th summer homework? I'll talk to you in class monday about all of this.
